What do you like best about teaching?
I love watching the faces of children light up when they figure out how to do something they have been working on.
Why did you decide to become a teacher?
I have known since I was in Kindergarten that I wanted to be a teacher. I used to play school all the time when I was a kid.
What is your favorite color?
What is your favorite children’s book?
There are so many great children’s books, but the one that always comes to mind first is Goodnight Moon because I used to read it to my oldest son every night when he was little. I had it memorized.
What’s your astrological sign?
Describe a favorite past vacation.
Last June, my family and I went to Costa Rica. It was amazing… the country was beautiful and the people were so friendly. Some of the things we did in Costa Rica …ziplined through the rainforest by a volcano, ATV riding, and hanging by the beach. I love taking family vacations!
